A colleague is asking for help to keep their intervention plan fully intact by prioritizing the financing of an elementary literacy coach. Our colleague says, “I’m looking for districts who have had success with elementary literacy coaches who are on district staff. Like many, we are a balanced literacy school district looking to shift our practice to align with the science of reading. Do you know of MI districts that are (or will be) financing literacy coaches (even they are not shifting to SOR)?”
